1) The role would be better if we could move away from escalation management, which remains a big part of the role. 2) Too many accounts to manage 3) Oftentimes the lack of bandwidth of the professional services department creates a lot of issues to CSMs, who have to take the hit of someone else's poor delivery. 4) Most of the times, churns or partial churns have nothing to do with how well the CSMs have worked on an account. However, CSMs are the only one who will take the hit of churns.
