I was part of the technology team, and my experience was far from positive. The CTO’s involvement was largely limited to generating JIRA reports and questioning timelines, with minimal understanding of the actual technical challenges we faced. The co-founders tend to be dismissive and unapproachable. Several top management roles are held by their family members, which contributes to a lack of professionalism and effective leadership. When the tech team raised genuine concerns in a dedicated meeting, the co-founders responded with remarks like, “If anyone wants to leave, the door is open,” which made it very clear how employee feedback is viewed. There is also widespread favouritism. Some employees receive 12–15 WFH days a month, while others struggle even to get one approved. During appraisal discussions, the company often cites losses, and team leads are instructed to deflect questions by saying, “It’s management’s decision.” Despite making big promises during town halls about being open to suggestions and issues, approaching leadership often results in humiliation rather than support. They also keep a close watch on employees’ LinkedIn activity, which creates a sense of constant surveillance and mistrust. Overall, the work culture is unhealthy and unsupportive, with leadership that does not value employee well-being or professional growth.
