- Can feel "startup-y": This is not a big corporate supertanker of a company... more like a speedboat. The red tape is slashed constantly and every day brings a new challenge. Pace is fast and you're expected to be adaptable. Not a con for me personally but I can see it being so for many people. - Communication can sometimes be obscure: Especially regarding new product launches, sometimes the key information doesn't get out or is in a state of flux until rather late in the game. Again, there's that element of adaptability. But more structure here would benefit.

The only positive is that I'm not working there anymore.

The merging of TradeSmith with InvestorPlace was by far the worst thing to ever happen to IP. Keith Kaplan is a terrible CEO who was the kid in high school that wanted to be one of the cool kids, and despite moderate success never got over the fact that he thinks everyone should be beholden to him. He operates like a toddler seeing every new idea as a new toy then forgets about it a week later. He purposely surrounds himself only with people who are "yes" men, so his fragile ego isn't harmed by people with good ideas and challenges bad ideas (which mostly come from him). Even company loyalty means nothing unless you supplicate yourself to Keith and his band of yes people. Stay away.
