Communication from the Directors and Management down is poor; Lack of consistency; Lack of transparency; No rewards and recognition programme in place like some of the competitors; Some old school practices and ideas; Adverse to new ideas and change; Technology issues; Managers are often not supported in decisions; Micro managing is prominent is some Departments - particularly the Underwriting Department; Evidence of bullying with HR doing little about it; Mysterious internal decision making processes.
