EMPLOYMENT RACISM - Recensione dipendente - Mechanical Engineer presso Trane Technologies

As a former employee in this company I have to say i saw quite a bit of unethical practices in regards to hiring. This company scores poorly on diversity, its a white mans bastion. I once interviewed a black person for an entry engineering position, i liked his qualifications and i recommended him to the senior engineers for hire, they blatantly by passed him for an ex army undergrad for no other reason i believe than he was white. I apologised to him and asked him to try again, which he did 5 months later, again i recommended him to the senior engineers for hire but they by passed him for a recently graduated white arab, who had among other things a very poor command of the english language. felt so bad for the black guy I couldnt even contemplate calling him back and telling him we couldnt offer him a job. wouldnt suggest black people apply to this company. America really needs to change
