Vantaggi

For the most part, everyone at Trans Ash is really great to talk to. If you are in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, this place seems like a really great place to work. You will get to do a lot more than what you were hired to do (this is a good and bad thing, but I enjoyed it).

Svantaggi

If you are not in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, and (I do hate to say this) if you are a woman in an Admin role, it is not a great place to work. This is particularly for the Corporate HQ. I do genuinely hope this is constructive to Trans Ash and to anyone considering working there. -VERY poor work life balance. -The VP tracks your arrival time and sends out updates to your boss (at least if you park in the front of the building, which is all women). -The general micro-management and lack of trust from the VP creates a very hostile work environment. -Support roles are all treated like Admin assistants OR Marketing assistants with little to no respect. -Salary positions are treated "by the hour." You need to leave 30 minutes early to get your kid from school? Not possible! -Little to no investment in your growth (in Admin roles) -The VP uses any woman in the office to do Executive Assistant duties.

Vantaggi

Family-owned organization with a traditional ownership model. Willing to invest in employees.

Svantaggi

Lack of leadership support, clear expectations, and structured onboarding. No formal orientation (no company overview, org chart, or handbook provided despite requests) made it difficult to understand the organization and effectively support employees. Training relied heavily on observation with minimal hands-on practice, and learning needs were not accommodated despite being communicated. Requests for clearer guidance, check-ins, and a defined path forward were labeled as push back and not acknowledged. Overall environment lacked psychological safety, and concerns about training dynamics and communication were recognized but not addressed.
