Thank you for your response. I haven’t received many responses mentioning some of the topics in your feedback and I’m very thankful it’s come up. It’s important we stay grounded and at all times, deeply invested in our Core Values.
Our company has never been stronger culturally and that’s evident in our recent employee satisfaction survey. Show me an organization that isn’t high pressure, and I’ll show you one that's in gradual decline. High pressure is a prerequisite for progress and success…and ultimately winning. Championship teams are constantly pressured to deliver results, and I don’t want our culture to be any other way. We've always said we work hard, and we play hard - and we always will.
The one thing we will never be is political. Honest, productive, and sometimes tense meetings can’t live in a political environment. Our direction and strategy are sound and sometimes an honest assessment of talent (just like any championship team) is required to ensure we have the right people in the right seats to lead the way.
We want leaders, idea creators, hard chargers, never give up-ers, respectful, professional, passionate, hardworking, and honest team members who don't accept mediocrity or apathy. Our teams support one another through high pressure situations…that’s what a team does.
I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. I will add this piece of advice: be careful working for organizations that do not have the ambition to be the best. Ambition to be the best, by nature, always be high pressure. Thanks for posting.
Sincerely,
Berkley Stafford, CEO
