It's a pay check. They do have health insurance but that is your only benefit whatsoever

When I started with this company, it was still sears. They cared about us or put forth an effort to show us that. When it became transformco it became just a job, and not a family. This company does not care about its employees. I, like many others, became just a number. Absolutely no heart. Be, let go was one of the greatest gifts.This company gave me. It will be hard. But going to bed every night, and knowing I do not have to work for transformco, gives me peace. This company does not have any form of performance based raises. And if you ask questions you will become the problem.

The benefits package overall could be improved, it is quite expensive for some employee types. No 401(k) match for non-technician.

I had a strong relationship with my team. There was lots of mutual respect among the individual contributors, managers, and directors. Recent (at the time) pushes to modernize the technology being used showed healthy signs of investment in the business' future.

Svantaggi

The CEO's decade (or more) long fixation on the retail side of the company placed a stranglehold on the far more profitable HVAC and appliance repair businesses. Efforts to spin them off were eventually abandoned, leaving the impression of a complete lack of long-term strategic vision and planning. Laughably poor compensation vs. market norms.
