Treehouse is a very messy and disorganized organization. Constant staff turnover, leadership musical chairs and crisis. They can’t manage a budget, which is disgraceful for a 30 million dollar state wide organization. It’s been a constant issue, and contributed to dropping programs, layoffs, a CEO transition and going through 2 Chief Development Officers in 3 years. There is a lack of policies and structure. In my several years at the organization, I never received a performance review. People are promoted and fired at a whim. It’s constant mayhem, all while gaslighting staff to put aside the very real harm the organization does to center the youth.
