I feel compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience with Trelleborg . My time working for this company has been marred by several significant issues, including inadequate compensation, reliance on outdated technology, and the presence of non-technical managers who lack the necessary expertise to lead effectively. Here are the key reasons why I strongly advise against considering employment at Trelleborg: Inadequate Compensation: One of the most frustrating aspects of working at Trelleborg was the unreasonably low compensation package. Despite my qualifications and the industry standards, the company consistently undervalued its employees by offering salaries well below market rates. This not only led to financial struggles but also reflected a lack of appreciation for the skills and contributions of the workforce. Outdated Technology: Working with outdated technology at Trelleborg was a constant source of frustration. The company failed to invest in modern tools, software, and equipment, which significantly hindered productivity and efficiency. The lack of technological advancements not only limited our ability to perform our jobs effectively but also put us at a disadvantage compared to competitors who embraced innovation. Incompetent Non-Technical Managers: A major flaw within Trelleborg was the presence of non-technical managers who lacked the necessary knowledge and understanding of the industry and the work being done. Their lack of technical expertise resulted in poor decision-making, ineffective project management, and an inability to provide guidance or support to the technical teams. This created a toxic work environment and hindered career growth and professional development. Limited Opportunities for Growth: Despite promises of growth and advancement, Trelleborg offered limited opportunities for professional development. The absence of clear career paths, coupled with a lack of investment in employee training and skill enhancement programs, left employees feeling stagnant and undervalued. This lack of growth prospects contributed to low morale and a high turnover rate. Poor Communication and Transparency: Communication within Trelleborg was consistently inadequate, with important information often withheld or relayed inefficiently. There was a distinct lack of transparency regarding company decisions, goals, and strategies, which created a sense of uncertainty and mistrust among employees. Some flexibility with work schedule.

Terrible work life balance - easily the worst job I ever had. No support staff. Worked 50-60 every week including weekends and holidays. Swedish company did not care about observing US holidays (had to work the vast majority to meet reporting deadlines). Expected to be on call 24/7. Continually added responsibilities with nothing ever being dropped. Pay below average, benefits average. Very little room for advancement.
