senior managers do seem to care about employees and people managers mostly do a great job. There is a real sense of community with other employees and it is great to know you are contributing to good change in the world. You don’t just feel like another number, the UK CEO makes a real effort to get to know people on a personal level and actually remembers your name which is a lovely feeling and not something i have ever encountered before.

Pay can be lacking and it’s hard to get a pay raise and takes a lot of work and time, so can lead to people finding opportunities that are better paid elsewhere as it takes so long. It does also feel like you are kind of expected to work outside of contracted hours with how high workloads are.
