Editors use Skype to communicate rather than a forum, so finding tips and info you missed while away from the computer is time consuming. Admins do attempt to keep idle comments and chattered to a minimum (deleted if there), so there is no personal way to communicate with fellow workers. AND, responses from admins are often curt and condescending. This attitude makes me care not at all about their issues with deadlines (like "really push this week"). I do care about the quality of my work and my contributions to the project, but don't really feel valued as a worker.
