The pros are volume in work and weekly pay a plus but were there is a plus there is negatives. There was really only 2 or3 managers that really know what they are doing in the whole company

None of upper management keeps there word when they say they are paying trip charges for going out of town you dont get it till they need to save there butts agian or need favors. This is coming from a guy that worked 7 days a week for over a year and helped them grow. Also after work orders are closed out they go back in to them and reduce/cut cyds last minute then you have to spend more time then it worth to get your money. I called it his firing squad!!!!! Its really sad after spending so much time and effort helping a company grow they just treat you like crap.

First, I’d like to thank you for providing us with this feedback. As we are a growing company, we are still looking for ways to improve the way we do business and it sounds as if vendor relations is a good start. It’s great to hear that you are satisfied with the volume of work in your coverage area and that you are happy with the weekly pay cycle. One thing that sets us apart from other preservation companies is that we don’t believe in making our vendors wait to be paid weeks and months later for the work they have completed. As far as special trips and payments are concerned, our solution involved giving each vendor a State Coordinator who is familiar with the state that vendor works in to ensure that one person is aware of where we don’t have extra coverage and can arrange those special trips so that they make sense for all parties involved. We now have one Vendor Manager who reviews all special trip and payment requests to ensure that nothing is slipping through the cracks. The Vendor Manager supervises the employees who assign work orders and works hand in hand with the accounting department to ensure that these jobs are paid correctly. Any time you have a question or would like your payment review, we encourage you to utilize our payment dispute process.

Decent salary overall even if you have to work 70 hours or more per week to achieve it. Lots of opportunities for hard workers that are naïve to the fact they will be used to benefit the company.

Management does not care if you have a life outside of work because they think TruAssets is all that matters...this being said as they have plans for their weekends while you work extra hours to keep things in order. Very little help when problems arise and even if management is aware of it it becomes your problem to deal with and resolve. Promises that are okayed by management are never honored and it makes you look like a liar to the contractors in the field. As stated previously all managers are buddies and if one has a hidden agenda against you they will set you up for failure and/or replacement.

Thank you for writing this and making us aware of some of the struggles you encountered while working for TruAssets. Work-life balance is something that can be very hard to achieve in this deadline-driven industry, especially when the company was in start-up stages, and it is in fact something that the majority of the management team struggles with as well. Sometimes it can seem as though there is always something left on your to do list that may go unfinished until the next day. This can be caused by many factors that can include not properly managing time in the office, lack of delegation at times, and or not reaching out to peers or management for assistance when dealing with an unbalanced workload. To your point, there are many opportunities for growth within the company and many of those in leadership roles have gotten there by sacrificing time when maybe they would have preferred to be at home. The management team works very closely together to achieve company goals and objectives which supersede any perceived personal friendships by far.
