I work in the claims department, and came from a very large auto insurance company. This is my first start-up and I feel like I'm on a different planet from my old job. Great benefits and rock-solid stability were what kept me at my old job for so long. There's no 401(k) matching here, but there are lots of free snacks and there's always beer in the fridge. Not so bad, overall.
