The owner doesn’t care about the employees to the most egregious extent. Unless you are a server, they will refuse to pay you a livable wage, even if you’ve been with the company for years. When you sign up you’re promised an exact wage with exact hours, but the manger, who no longer works there, would within a week over work you grossly, under pay you grossly, and then gaslight you about it saying your standards are outlandish. Although this manager no longer works at twisted laurel, there is more to the story that shows the true depth of the disgusting behavior of the owner. This previous manager, who worked there for years, has multiple sexual assault allegations from almost every female employee. When it became too much of a problem, the owner “fired” this manager under the facade that he truly cared about his employees, but what he really did was transfer the manager to the pharmacy next door and have him continue as manager there. Not only has the owner kept this terrible human being as a manager at another business where he is most likely doing the same things, this previous manager still visits twisted laurel almost every morning to continue to harass the very women who unfortunately put up with him for years already. The owner acts like the employees are the most valuable part of the business, but in reality he is continuing to support disgusting behavior and allowing this ex manager to work for him still, with only a single wall in a building separating him from these women. Not only is working here the most terrible and unprofessional experience I have EVER had, but I am appalled by the owners actions and decisions, which have continuously put his employees in danger.
