Given the fast paced environment this may not be for everyone, requires someone who is ambitious and willing to think in a logical yet analytical manner. There are genuinely hard working intelligent people at CSS who are also a fun to be around which makes coming in everyday enjoyable. This is a young company who is constantly looking at itself to see where improvements can be made.

-Tendency to hire from outside instead of promoting internal talented people, which has led to some key people leaving the company -Organizational structure is ambiguous at times -Long work hours, nights and weekends are normal -Stressful at time due to over promising to our customers, this leads to duplicative concurrent work and tight deadlines

If you like to switch around onto different teams, they love that and will support horizontal movement with the same pay. Lots of employee engagement opportunities even though it is remote.

Too much change going on with the FHFA getting too involved. Threatened to bring employees back to the office, then stayed remote again. People got laid off, and instead of hiring more people they just rotate people horizontally instead of promoting people vertically. The amount of projects and work keeps increasing but there is not enough staff to support it, ends up becoming a toxic environment of overworking. No pay boost either, just arbitrary work rewards to appreciate you.
