Company genuinely tries to maintain a collaborative working culture. Benefits are great. One of the better paid European Banks currently.

Salary increase happens in August each year. Bank is small compare to other big banks. As a result UBS does more with less. Each person has too much responsibility and manages too many things. It is far too much work for any single person. Team culture really shapes your life and not company culture. Way too much politics. Toxic team environment. Everyone wants to do the visible stuff, full of posers. All the real work given to juniors and given no visibility. Credits all taken.

Too much offshore, low cost resource strategies, Gap between functional & IT resources, CS merger favored many UBS employees and massive layoffs post UBS - CS merger. Hardly any bonus or pay increments.
