Vantaggi

Good benefits and great hours

Svantaggi

Only 1 single 10 minute break regardless of how many hours you work in a day. Sounds pretty shady, right? Yeah. It is. Everything is your fault. Don't meet production on your shift even though you did exactly what you were told. Your job basically consists of asking hourly, union, employees to work faster, which they are under no obligation to do. When they don't work faster you are told that you don't know how to do your job. Sometimes you are asked to "demonstrate" to employees who have been there 10+ years. Union rules state that as management you are not to do any work, so you are supposed to tell someone to step aside so they can watch you as you demonstrate, which they often will not let you do. So, you are *wink wink* asked to demonstrate, which means you need to work, but you weren't exactly told to work, but you know that that's what your boss wants you to do. Then when you get filed on for working management does not have your back, and instead will suspend you. No training either. You aren't told how to manage people. You are taught how to fill out paperwork, and that's basically it. Management barely knows how to manage the other part-time managers. There is so much micro-management going on here it will make your head spin. Ever had 4 different people telling you 4 different, contradicting, things to be doing at once? That's just another day here. As management, you aren't even allowed to make any management decisions. You are there to be told that you are not doing your job. You will have a radio strapped to you so that these lovely reminders of how terrible you're doing can be shouted into your ear by every upper-management person under the sun. Employees will not listen to you, because why would they? There are no repercussions for their actions. They walk out when they want, or don't do as you ask them? Your fault.

Vantaggi
