80 hour work weeks with little breaks, see family less than was told during interview, useless health benefits that you can never use since the medical facility are always full, no free time to pursue high education even though it was explained that there would be time, stress is 100 times high than in civilian world, and more. Basically I signed up to help people in need and instead I went to a unit that had civilians who hated us more than needed us. My work day was basically cleaning dishes, or scrubbing the boat, or touching cancerous chemicals, or getting yelled at for doing any of those things too slow. But you have to do those things your self a lot. BM's are a**holes who think they know more than everyone else and make you do work that they don't want to, even if you aren't qualified to do it. 4/10 would recommend the air force. (side note) The "A" school list, a list you wait on to go to a specialized school, are basically almost full so you be waiting for years before being able to advance in pay and rank. Everyone will most likely have to do 6 years even if they only signed up for 4.
