*They give straight feedback, both positive and critiques, in order to aid your growth and success. That isn't common in the foodservice world. So it's refreshing. *There is lots of training available, especially for Sales. *There's a feeling of inclusivity, at least the attempt to ensure it grows and becomes ingrained in its culture. *They're a huge company. So you can always find a position elsewhere if you want to relocate, or even not. *They are honorable. When the pandemic hit and they were forced to furlough and/or lay off employees, they worked hard to take care of their people. They offered fair severance packages, help finding new employment, and even helped Drivers and warehouse personnel get work with retail warehouses because that segment's business skyrocketed.

*They are a bit solo'd, meaning you're not usually encouraged to work outside your lane. That can be frustrating if you've worked elsewhere where everyone did whatever was necessary to take care of both external and internal customers. *While being a big company has its advantages, the downside is you can get lost and not know where to turn for help. If you ask someone, they'll try to find the correct person or department, but that doesn't always work. *As with many foodservice companies where purchasing other companies is part of their history, they don't seem to learn from the failures and bumpy acquisitions. It's almost like they're starting from scratch with no benefit of prior experience.
