      Decent pay. Benefits are good once you get out. (ie GI Bill, VA loan for a home) Meet some good people and make friends for life.

      Duty days are the worst things in the world. You are stuck on the boat for 24 hours. Underway is not as bad as it seems just depends on how you adapt.
