-THE IT ISSUES. ARE. HORRENDOUS. -You are a call center employee FIRST. You are an auto adjuster second (and if you have time) -Pay is slightly lower than other places ($39k-$41k starting) for similar positions, bonus makes up for it but is taxed heavily (25%-30%) -If your metrics aren't good, your bonus will be affected -Scheduling, getting out of an 11:00-7:30 shift is pretty hard -Being an overpaid operator (surely a multi-billion dollar enterprise can afford to have a better phone system if employees are getting such generous bonuses) -You are only as good as your metrics. It's bad to work your worklist and not have high enough phone metrics. It's bad to have too high phone metrics and not work your worklist. Most people do not have a perfect balance/metrics. You are expected to have perfect metrics, else be written up and judged as if you do NOTHING all day long. -Strict metrics = micromanagement -Very stressful job, everyone calling you has a problem. Constant negativity. -No opportunity to move laterally to other roles, you can move to an injury adjuster. That is it. Management will tell you to look out for postings related to other departments, but other departments do not target or want claims adjusters. -It is a shame to not know the people you work with, the pressure to be on the phone all of the time is so high that you seldom get to know your coworkers. -Need to work OT to get ahead or keep up with your work. -Coming back from PTO is a nightmare, hopefully your team was able to keep up with your work. Otherwise you will be underwater.

Slow IT support, limited interactions with industry. Banking business is not as mature as insurance.
