10yThank you for your review. Uber is indeed evolving it's strategy and structure around customer support/service representatives. We're continually launching new products which means our customer support environment is more complex. To address the complexity, we're building centers of excellence (COEs) around the globe (included the US) to better serve the customer on support issues. People who work in the COEs start as contractors and are offered a chance to convert to full time based on company need and individual performance. If you had a work from home position that was moved to a COE, I encourage you to check out uber.com/jobs for a role in a COE or other roles that might fit your experience -- Partner Support Center roles and Operations Coordinators can be good role fits for people with customer service experience.
