They prefer to hire from the outside so there is not a lot of room to grow. You're expected to follow and embrace their "values" ( which are actually very realistic and could be a good thing) but upper management and corporate has a hard time following them. Nobody that works in the corporate positions are familiar with the beauty industry/salons so that is very frustrating.
