Despite having cool products, there is a massive disconnect between senior management and everyone beneath. Timelines are unrealistic, product development resources are stretched increasingly thin, and budget is lacking. This hampers the development process and causes morale to plummet.
Unchained Labs is very quick to fire and trim anyone they deem excess without regards to what that can do to teams, resources, and morale. This leads to a huge gap in knowledge as many newer individuals require training, which, existing employees do not have time to deal with or they risk missing existing project deadlines. Favoritism also reins high as it becomes evident it’s about people’s perception of you versus the actual work you perform.
As another reviewer stated, employee benefits are also poor including no 401K matching.
