Said will aligned to the industry standards BUT all the benefits provided is way below the average standards. 1) meal allowance only $2 and the food provided is like the cooking oil is on huge discounts ( oily food) and not nice at all. Able to observe most employees only eat 70% of the food and dispose the 30% but HR kind of blind, not able to observe. 2) Medical allowance only able to claim $40 (panel clinic only, non panel pay full by yourself), beyond that, you need to pay your own. 3) salary average is not up to par as other companies and salary adjustment only applicable to fresh grad and new hires. Those working for 1+ years above or graduated more than certain years and just join this field has no adjustment (you shall work till you die), wondering how can retain the employees. 4) give you a bicycle ( desktop) and expect you to ride it like a Lamborghini. The computer provided is only 8gb ram, yet the software required for daily use is beyond that, software crash here and there. That's UMC's mindset of effective and efficient:D 5) report writing is more important than actual work. Expected to spend time to write report to customers and we still need to qual equipment and solve daily management issue. Overall this company is squeezing everything they can get from you by paying minimum wage and giving minimum benefits.
