The people are friendly and hard working. If you're in the office on a busy day, it feels like a lot of work is being done. No unnecessary meetings. The office itself is great and very conveniently located near the station and shopping centre (although there will be a move in November). There is parking near the office. The company is well immersed in the automotive and dealership field. This job and other roles would suit you well if you have had experience in either a car dealership or a car brand/manufacturer, as you will be working closely with them. Brilliant WFH policy - only had to come in around 2-4 times a year. An allowance is given to purchase necessary equipment for a home office. Career path for new graduates is clearly organised and is great for those who wish to stay for the long haul. Urban Science has an internal certification program allowing you to progress with ease.

There is only one career path available for new starters/graduates. This is one of the main reasons I left - coming from a technical background, I had no interest in consulting or management, but the analyst career path does not have an alternative to either. Although there is a technical aspect, it is restricted to SQL/Excel development. Additionally, the title of 'analyst' and the role itself feels somewhat vague. Responsibilities felt like a mix of data and business analysis. There is a lack of organised documentation for new starters to better understand the applications and databases. I found it wasn't a lack of SQL knowledge, but rather knowledge of the databases and how data is organised, that presented the biggest barrier to completing tasks. YMMV - depending on which team you are in, you may end up not meeting your manager/other team members for a long time as they are not based in your country's office. I never met either of my managers in person. Pension contribution could be better.
