Whatever part of your CTC is variable, consider it gone even if the company does decent. finance team will set such stringent targets on EBITDA and then when it's not achieved, give ZERO BONUS.. I MEAN ACTUALLY ZERO. so don't join if you are not happy with fixed ctc, coz that's all you will get. Variable is an imaginary number which will be credited as imaginary only in your account
