-Computer work doesn't really prepare you for the day to day. The in house application Woofware has a handful of training that is largely just reading and sparse interactivity. -While training with my department head she acted like I was a burden and didn't train me in an effective method that left both of us frustrated. Asked questions like how to improve and pay attention to particular bits of information on the phone and was only met with a shrug. -Said supervisor not even trying to go into the brass tacks of why something works would only say along the lines "Oh you should know this". Legitimately received better training from my co-workers than my supervisor. -Supervisor would be burnt out mid-way through the shift and complain about how she wanted to go home. This happened for an entire week. -The mood of the entire building is negativity. Every single employee is miserable and doesn't want to be at their job. Really feels like the only reason why anyone works at VCA Companion is to help animals. -Told to be positive but every time I "looked on the bright side of things" was constantly shot down.
