Vantaggi
There were a few actually pretty cool people.
Svantaggi
Let's start: - Management lacks technical and soft skills. They are the worst managers I've seen. Examples: * The entire team of mobile development resigned (6 people, most of them did it within a lapse of 5 months) because of the lack of career opportunities, salary and the overhead of work given by the Development Manager (Luciano). He couldn't hold even 1 of the 6. I'm talking that there were only 2 projects in the company, not that much to manage. * There has been a QA Sr position that couldn't be covered, where 3 people spend less than 6 months before quitting, because the QA Manager (Javier) can only manage his close friends. - Both managers are authoritarian, and they don't accept any critic, even when having asked for it. I've seen the Development Manager in a meeting asking for opinions on the new "scrum enhancement" yell violently to a guy for just pointing out that they didn't have any of the elements of "scrum" (story points, stand up, poker planning, backlog grooming... none). This guy was called in to the meeting among other, specifically, because of his seniority. - Everyone suffers, through long hours, the results of incompetent decisions of management. - Human resources are non-existent, except to support managers. - The Director of Product (Managers' boss) resigned a few months after the mobile team. Having meeting him, he was very different (he was capable, willing to improve, open to critic), thus some ex-employees agree it was probably due to his limitations to improve anything under the current managers.
