What was once a great organization with a strong culture and reasonable work life balance changed significantly after it was acquired by a private equity firm. Since then morale has declined, workloads have increased, and many resources have been moved offshore. Employees are often overworked and burnout is common, yet leadership appears disconnected from the reality many teams are facing. Communication is limited and meaningful support from leadership is lacking.
