Some of the most interesting problems I’ve worked on as a scientist. Material can be tough but rewarding and you grow as a professional. The leadership team is thoughtful, engaged and really makes sure the team is taken care of. They love their fields and are inspiring. Lots of super smart and interesting people. They have grown a great culture of diversity especially for women in STEM. Fun environment in the lab. Dog friendly with lots of team bonding activities. Getting off the ground was hard when the team was smaller with lots of long hours but it’s better now and things are positive.

R&D took a while to get momentum but now is a focus for the whole team. Lots of data prep before modeling which can get tough and tedious, but that’s the field. Travel for programs is inevitable, not as bad as most consulting firms apparently but the team travels a lot. Could invest more in training programs outside of R&D for specific continuous learning.
