      I worked at Valley Behavioral Health right out of my undergraduate degree. Case management gave me lots of experience and I genuinely enjoyed working with my clients. I made some good friends with my coworkers.

      The company itself seems to burn out its employees with overwork. There was a lot of fast turnover, and I was working at three different programs, changing every week or so, to cover for their lack of employees.

      The management team is super supportive, but also doesn't hold your hand or micromanage. They encourage you to find a system that works for you and to come up with your own way to efficiently complete your tasks. They do a phenomenal job of training you and providing guidance no matter how familiar you are with the job at hand.

      This job does struggle with being understaffed at times. However, in my experience this is not because of the company or poor management. It is more so a reflection of prospect employees not knowing what all is involved in community mental health or the level of care needed by the clientele.

      very independent work place if you meet your KPIs. Culture was honest and welcoming, I had no problems with the people.
