Vantaggi
VA has been a crucial stepping stone in my career. The habits I developed there have helped me to now compete with some of the best talent in India. When I started in finance, I was inexperienced and immature, but during my two years at VA, I learned critical disciplines. The long hours, tough processes, and extensive research (balancing with multiple sectors) were challenging, but they truly shaped my work ethic. Though I made many mistakes early on, those experiences laid the foundation for my future roles, ultimately leading me to the strategy team at Zomato in just five years. At VA, I learned to be detail oriented and persistent. We were trained to double check our work before submitting it, and this discipline earned the trust of clients and superiors in my later roles. Looking back, the challenges at VA were invaluable as, it built my character, and ethics. There's no office politics/gossips as well. For young professionals eager to grow, VA is an excellent place to sharpen your skills, especially the Pre-mandate/Summary sheet exercises. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the lessons I was learning, but now I see it as having a tough coach. The key takeaway is that persistence and discipline will truly drive your career forward. As talented individuals, we can always find a 100 flaws in any place, but if you focus on just 1 good thing, over time, you'll look back and thank yourself! Trust me on this!
