The recruitment process is extremely misleading. Managers make it sound like reps are hitting targets effortlessly and excelling from the start, but in reality, none of that support or success exists. The vast majority of reps fail to hit targets, and turnover is extremely high, but leadership frames it as individual failure rather than impossible expectations. Any attempt to provide honest feedback is treated as negativity or “resistance,” creating a culture where people keep their heads down instead of speaking up. Pressure is relentless, micro-management is constant, playbooks are rigid, and success feels more about surviving the system than actually selling. Toxic behaviour is normalised. public praise is dished out for appearances, while blame is quietly shifted onto those who can’t keep up. Promises made during hiring about career development, mentorship, and a happy/enjoyable work place are simply lies.

* **Too many layers of management.** There are excessive management layers that often create bottlenecks and encourage micromanagement instead of empowering employees to better serve customers and build great products. * **Lack of investment in IC.** Many teams remain understaffed, resulting in consistently high workloads. Burnout is common, and employees are frequently expected to take on responsibilities well beyond their role and pay band without recognition. * **"Flexible PTO" doesn't feel truly flexible.** While the company advertises flexible PTO, in practice there appears to be an informal limit/fake. Taking around three weeks or more of PTO can draw leadership attention, and it can feel like using the benefit may negatively affect performance reviews, even when work expectations are met. This discourages employees from taking the time off they need to recharge.
