I've been working for Varonis for about 8 months now in the Sales Engineer position and so far I have been very impressed with the company. The training received has been extremely thorough which has certainly prepared me for my role. Executive Management does support and invest in the employees which is something I really value. Like most positions in the IT field, this one is also fast paced. But between the training and the support of my team, I never feel isolated or overwhelmed even as a remote employee. Also, Varonis has solid line of solutions that support the company’s underlying methodology for protecting data and the demand for these solutions has never been greater. It’s an exciting time at Varonis right now and I’m glad I made the decision to join the company.

As with any job there's a lot to learn (solutions, internal processes, compliance, etc...) and the new employee training can seem a bit intense at times. So that first month can be tough one. But once you're past that it becomes a lot more fun and enjoyable.

Company is so compartmentalized no one team has any idea of what is going on with another, which is specifically frustrating when it comes to pay/commission. They keep purchasing other companies without properly integrating into the existing product and have to basically re-invent how to use the full potential of said product to interact with what they already have, leaving a lot to be desired. Hiring new positions with specific goals in mind, but have the same title so are treated the same when it comes to OTE creating a substantial pay cut. Especially when they are brought in to make certain parts of the team and product better.
