You meet a wide variety of people and really get to develop your interpersonal skills. It helps you learn how to multitask efficiently. There would usually be family meals offered pre & post-shift. It was good money at times.

There were so many hostesses and it lead some to apply to the other positions within the restaurant. Some of us were not making enough money because of the lack of available shifts.
