Vantaggi

Verasolve is a great place to experience agency life. All of the employees are very friendly and collaborative. I've gained more hands-on experience in my time at Verasolve then I did at any of my other jobs combined. You also get to work from home 1-2 days a week and have flexible sick leave which are definite perks. We also have lunch and learns and monthly fun days. The owner has also been making a concerted effort to connect more with his employees and to address their concerns.

Svantaggi

Verasolve is by no means a stress free or typical 9 -5 job. Agency life in general is very demanding. Our clients can be very difficult to please and they are often times sold on unrealistic promises. When we (on the operations side) can't meet these unrealistic expectations it falls back on us and make us look bad. This seems to stem from a divide between operations and business development.

Vantaggi

Very positive and productive work environment. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Flexible hours and there are some opportunities to work remotely. I learned a lot about different industries and gained experience creating content for a variety of businesses. All my work received constructive feedback, which allowed me to take note of where I needed to improve.

Svantaggi

I have no negative comments about the position.

Vantaggi

Location, work setting, co-workers, some client work

Svantaggi

No benefits. No upward mobility. Below average pay. The way the company is structured, you are set up to fail. There is a lot expected of the employees but very little given in return. Client retention is your responsibility although the clients are sold on unrealistic expectations by the business development team. Some BD team members bit-foot managers any time there is a client issue, leading to a lack of faith in the manager by the client and resentment toward the BD staff. BD team thinks they are marketing/PR professionals and lead clients to believe they are involved in the day-to-day, which is not the case unless there is an issue. Client managers have no support staff -- expected to create strategy, hold meetings, manage projects, create deliverables for a minimum of four clients at a time, all for the client price of $5500 a month. This is all very bad for morale.
