The laboratory staff is overworked and under paid. Management is extremely optimistic about their goals and they do not care for the strain or the quality of life of their employees. Everyone has a very negative attitude towards their job and only do enough to get by and also frown upon those who attempt to do more. The laboratory director seems a bit ignorant about the happenings of the lab and only does rounds to show he is there as opposed to really understand the laboratory's situation. If I had known all of this I would have not wasted my time in the Pre-Analytic assessioning department and I would have sought opportunity elsewhere. MLA at this place is a data entry dead end job. Don't do it. Look elsewhere. You've been warned.
