Unionized colleagues have a poor attitude to a lot of things, including management. Experienced colleagues (20 plus yrs with company) have a very stubborn attitude about learning new things or trying something different. Very little education has been given to the labour force about a lot of things outside of their immediate departments they work in, but this can be both a con and pro as it creates an opportunity for a good management team to steer them down the right path. I wasn't there for very long due to moving, but I got to see and experience certain things that needed changing.
