I certainly had my doubts about leaving my previous job. I was at a company that recently went public, I had a clear promotion path, good friends and a comfortable job to come into everyday. I would be leaving this to go join a brand new "unproven" start up, and I also had to commute to it. Looking back now, I can't imagine how much of a mistake it would have been to pass up the opportunity to join Verkada. From day one I knew I made the right decision - the incredible market opportunity, the amount of talent I am surrounded with, the management and just the overall environment of the team/office. I really cannot imagine a better opportunity out there. If you are looking to work in tech in the Silicon Valley - this is the epitome of what you are searching for. There is something special happening here, and it's a great feeling to be a part of the team building it... I wake up excited everyday to get to the office and get to work. If you are considering joining, it is an absolute no brainer.
