Dave Trond (CEO) is a bully and sets the tone from the top down. He abuses the staff by yelling at them and threatening them. There's no effort to bring the company into the 21st century, there are still paper processes. No business systems in place, this place is disorganized and toxic both figuratively and literally. Don't breathe the air in there, it's not safe. Every decision goes through Dave, and don't dare disagree with him otherwise he'll flip out. Don't fall for his charisma, he's charming at first, but he's a racist POS.

The quality of their boats and their sales staff are their only saving grace

Internally this company is incredibly poorly run. Constant high percentage turn-over (so far just slow enough to not lower the product quality). Owner (Mike Vespoli), has a "it's good enough" attitude for everything other than brand new boats. They do not have the manufacturing staff to keep up with sales (again, can't believe that product quality has held up this long).
