We are a growing organization and with growth comes a lot of change, which often times is difficult or uncomfortable. People are our greatest asset as a service organization and we care very much about our values and providing best-in-class veterinary care for pets and their companions. The areas you mention are ones in which we consistently focus – building culture, developing teams, and empathy – to name a few. While we have a lack of diversity in some areas, to improve diversity we have developed a diversity committee with actions in place to make improvements, in a profession where diversity is lacking. Growth here is not optional - personally or professionally. If you're looking for a place to coast, this isn't it. That said, I've come to see this as a feature, not a bug. Being pushed outside your comfort zone is uncomfortable, but it's also how you get better. VPP invests in people who want to grow, and expects the same in return. Know that going in.
