Budget cuts and unfilled positions mean employees have to constantly do more with less Little sense that administration actually cares about the people that work for them, especially the college-level faculty Rhetoric does not match reality; the organization claims to put students and faculty as its priority but in reality seems only to care about making employers happy Nonsensical decisions from top-level administration decreases quality of organizational events, while simultaneously managing to increase the cost of those events to the system (and taxpayers, by extension) and the workload on employees Limited sense of potential for career advancement Severe understaffing in some areas with no signs of essential positions being filled
