Customer satisfaction is not the priority. Case in point: Telehealth exams. Telehealth exams are a nightmare for the staff, and more importantly, for the patients. The company schedules one every 20 minutes, but each telehealth exam takes 45 minutes to complete, and that's if everything goes well, which is extraordinarily rare. Way too often, there is a doctor shortage, or electronic issue, resulting in exams taking over an hour. As a result, some patients end up waiting two and a half hours for an eye exam, which is not fair to them.
