Good equipment. If you like to work there is plenty of opportunity to make extra money through overtime. Good people working toward improving the community and keeping Volusia safe. The Sheriff is making technology available and working toward bringing the SO out of the stone ages.

PAY PAY PAY New Sgt's, Lt's and Capt's trying to make a name for themselves at the expense of morale. Some positions are overworked. Training has been revamped from a defensive never quit attitude to hugs for thugs. Too many details related to cases given to the media that potentially jeopardize cases.
