+ Easy going management (at my store) + Good interactions with fellow employees (at my store) + Ability to easily change jobs as they become available. (There is an internal app system in place where employees can post their job ambitions. There are also training tools available for those wanting to get into management positions.) + While Walmart is not unionized, there are certain tools or portals employees can use if they feel wrongfully let go. In my experience this helped other employees on two occasions.

- Schedule you maximum hours but never enough to qualify for full time - Raises happen once a year and are very small, even when scoring in the highest performance review bracket. - The employee discount is small. %10 off store items, not including grocery. - Management is very slow to address concerns or non-regular obligations - Higher management has no idea how the specialty areas like the photo lab or cell phone department actually operate. This made explaining department needs very difficult.
