Gained a lot of experience in public policy and research, nice and helpful staff.

There are no downsides to working here.

The staff are all very committed to their jobs and passionate about educating people of the Puget Sound region about the effects of public policy decisions at the city, county, state, and federal level.

The staff are very focused on the task at hand. They can be a bit myopic, because they are paid to produce research which is essentially pro-business and critical of government. This has its place though, and anyone looking for experience with pubic policy in the state of Washington would benefit from this perspective.
