Svantaggi
This company has been a sinking ship the past few years. Round after round of layoffs followed by micro layoffs each week shows how little the company cares for its people and how unorganized it is. Being in a leadership role I saw the lack of communication and ability to make the right decisions. It felt like each month and year there was always a major change to the departments. High level management consistently was being fired or laid off so there was never any steadiness from the top. The company felt like it was being ran by people who truly did not know what they were doing. Everything felt like it was winged without a true knowledge or purpose. The head of B2C recently took over B2B which led to more “reorganization” aka layoffs. It led to top performers and people who have worked at Wayfair for years to be let go. Everyone consistently was on the edge of their seat waiting to see if they would have a job after a random Friday meeting would be put on their calendar. Also there is a serious lack of professionalism across the board. The amount of inappropriate stories I heard that was brushed under the rug from HR was appalling. Wayfair truly became toxic place to work that showed zero value in its people. Wayfair and upper management 100% looks at everyone like a number that can be replaced in a moment. I spent five years here and it went drastically downhill fast. The work became more and more meaningless when there was no transparency or honesty from our leaders. This used to be a place everyone wanted to work and now it’s a place people are either laid off or quite constantly. There is no job security and there is no respect for its people. Wayfair has no idea what it’s doing anymore. It’s just like my headline. It’s a giant ship going down and it’s only a matter of time that everyone is going to hit the water. I have never been treated with such little dignity and respect for my work and time I spent there. Stay away people. This is coming from someone in leadership who saw the ins and outs more than a rep would.
