People are cool. Most clients are cool. Owners are genuine and give you all the tools you need to succeed. Unlimited PTO and get off at 3pm on Friday's.

Svantaggi

Some clients aren't the best fit or are sold on impossible projections which causes stress for the team but they pay the bills and is normal at any agency.

I've never felt more camaraderie with my coworkers anywhere else. I genuinely loved the team and HR was always doing things to help morale and to improve the company. I always felt like they genuinely cared and wanted to make it a good place to work. Additionally there were a few people on the leadership team in Creative, Development, and People Operations who would try their best to fight the good fight. The unlimited PTO and work/life balance were also highly appreciated.

Svantaggi

Major pay disparities between people who do the same job or carry the same title. If you're coming in to WebMechanix fight for a higher salary because there's someone else who is being paid more than you for the same job. Blatant favoritism by leadership. Questionable moral decisions around pay when it comes to working with talent outside the US. Generally if the leadership team (again with a few exceptions) can get away with paying someone pennies they'll do it.
